COMPANY POLICY

  • REGISTRATIONS

    ⚫Students MUST BE registered in the course with their legal name and it MUST match the legal name on a photo-ID.


    ⚫Courses registrations ARE NOT confirmed until full payment is received. 


    ⚫Registrations and enrollment can be done online through the website or by directly contacting us via phone or email.


    ⚫Students are responsible for the accuracy of their course registration. Students will be held responsible for fees incurred and/or academic consequences resulting from their failure to present proper identification in person as well as any misrepresentations or mistakes in their registration

  • COURSE TIMES

    ⚫While class times vary between the different courses, participants are expected to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork.


    ⚫Students arriving more than 30 minutes late for the course will not be able to join the class and are not eligible for a refund.


    ⚫Punctuality & 100% attendance is mandatory.



  • REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

    ⚫365 Safety Training may cancel courses due to low enrollment or unforeseen instructor emergencies.


    ⚫In case of cancellation, participants have the option to reschedule for free or receive a full refund.


    ⚫Full refunds for booking cancellations made at least 10 business days before the session starts.


    ⚫50% refunds for booking cancellations made at least 7 business days before the session starts.


    No-shows and same week/day cancellations are not eligible for a refund.

  • CLASSROOMS CODE OF CONDUCT

    365 Safety Training Company is dedicated to fostering a safe and respectful learning environment. 


    To uphold this commitment, students, instructors, and staff are obligated to:


    ⚫ Prohibit any form of bullying or harassment, treating everyone with courtesy and respect at all times.


    ⚫ Prohibit making comments or jokes of sexual, religious, political, discriminatory, or racial nature. Report any improper activity, behavior, or harassment promptly to the instructor and/or the company.


    ⚫ Prohibit engaging in any improper activity or behavior that may create a hazard or threatening environment, especially when handling equipment.


    ⚫ Prohibit the use of cell phones during class time. Keep all devices on vibrate/silent to avoid disturbances. Taking photographs or videos of classroom activities is only allowed with the expressed approval of all involved.


    ⚫ Prohibit littering and maintain cleanliness in the classroom and common areas. Keep training supplies and work areas organized and tidy up after yourself.


    ⚫ Prohibit any form of horseplay, especially when dealing with equipment such as oxygen tanks, spinal boards, tourniquets, etc.


    ⚫ Make good hygiene practices a MUST, including frequent handwashing and hand sanitizing.


    ⚫ Ensure all teaching aids/equipment are decontaminated, cleaned, and sanitized between partner rotations and after the training session using 70% Isopropyl or Ethyl Alcohol for at least 30 seconds.


    ⚫ Recognize that drug and alcohol use is strictly prohibited during courses. If suspected impairment hinders learning, the student may be asked to leave the course.

  • INSTRUCTORS CODE OF CONDUCT

    1. 365 SAFETY is committed to high standards of ethics and conduct in all aspects of its operations. 365 SAFETY requires the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct from its trainers and instructors.


    2. Certified and authorized 365 SAFETY trainers or instructors are expected to make reasonable efforts to apply the standards contained herein in carrying out all of their obligations as certified trainers and instructors.


    ⚫Act with honesty, integrity, diligence and transparency; as well as contribute to creating a respectful, inclusive, positive and healthy environment for course participants;


    ⚫Consistently display high professional standards to project a favourable image of 365 SAFETY TRAINING COMPANY and its programs;


    ⚫Not discriminate against any person on the basis of nationality, race, religious beliefs, social or economic class, associations or political opinions;


    ⚫Work collaboratively with other trainers and instructors in their geographic region;


    ⚫Offer training to all candidates regardless of affiliations with other organizations;


    ⚫Work collaboratively and responsibly with the 365 SAFETY


    ⚫Take adequate steps to prevent accidents or injuries to health arising out of, associated with, or occurring in the course of training.


    ⚫Follow the highest ethical standards in all aspects of Training Course delivery.


    ⚫Prevent the occurrence of bribery or corrupt practices;


    ⚫Not engage in any bribery or corrupt practices or any kind;


    ⚫Not do business with any person or third party where Training Partner knows, suspects or reasonably ought to know or suspect the existence of any illegal, unethical or questionable practices; and


    ⚫Take reasonably appropriate action in the event there is any evidence of illegal, unethical or questionable practices; and


    ⚫Comply in all respects with all Canadian laws and regulations dealing with bribery and corruption including without limitation the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act, the Criminal Code, and the Quebec Anti-corruption Act, as may be amended from time to time.

  • TEACHER-STUDENT CONDUCT


    ⚫ Instructors may need to address various student behaviors, such as disruptions, prolonged absences, signs of learning disabilities, and instances of alcohol or drug influence.


    ⚫ Regardless of the situation, it is crucial to engage with students respectfully.


    ⚫ Instructors have the authority to remove disruptive students from the room after issuing a clear warning that such behavior must cease.


    ⚫ Any altercations must be documented and submitted by email to 365 SAFETY TRAINING COMPANY.
